Behavioral problems can be complex, resulting from underlying fear/anxiety, stress, genetic traits, learned behavior, abnormal brain chemistry, and medical condition. A Veterinary Behaviorist is a veterinarian that can diagnose not only medical conditions but also behavioral disorders. The KHVC behavioral medicine service offers high-quality veterinary care to patients with behavioral concerns, including diagnostics, medication use, management / avoidance strategies, & humane behavior modification techniques. Additionally, the KHVC team works with a network of local trainers, veterinarians, and other pet professionals in our community to further help our patients find the right team in all areas of their lives.
Appointments:
All new consults will be in person, but follow ups are offered / encouraged via telemedicine through Zoom. This allows us to follow up with our distant patients without requiring frequent travel.
